How to grab objects into GH

Understanding the display characteristics of batteries (emphasis added)

Objects in GH are all virtualized, and when grabbing an object in, nothing happens to your previous object.

A completely virtualized display object is shown in the Rhino interface. (The object cannot be selected)

Another very important point is this.

【Each cell in the GH is displayed independently.】

That means that there are cases where even if you hide the cell you specified.

In other words, in some cases, even if you hide the components you specified, you may find that the object is not hidden as you want it to be, but the components in front of it are still displayed.

Even if those components are connected together, they are still independent.

This is very, very important to remember.

Pickup method

Generally these are the only common pickup tools we have at the moment:



 
 Grab Gems (this tool can only grab gems, grabbing objects is not selected)





 
 Grabbing Objects (this tool can grab curved surfaces, polysurfaces, meshes)




 Grab Curve (this tool can only grab curves)

Picking up files into GH (e.g. picking up grayscale maps)

Resting point

This tool can be used to set the direction when there are tools that require axial control
